Existing cytology vial archiving methods are error prone, time consuming and lack traceability.
Lab Improvements RackTrack functionality allows a lab to track their Cytology (or any sample) type into to a variety of rack and tray types. Samples such as ThinPrep or SurePath vials can now be reliably archived via the RackTrack operator interface.
With RackTrack, the lab will be able to reliably retrieve samples and insure they are returned to the system in a timely manner. Discard control verifies that samples are kept long enough to meet compliance while not being retained beyond that optimising storage space within the lab and increasing storage capacity.
Traceability
Sample retrievals are tracked and notifications sent if a sample is not returned to storage on time.
Storage
RackTrack can be customized to accommodate multiple types of storage trays. Sample retention is carefully managed to ensure samples are neither discarded prematurely nor kept longer than necessary, optimizing your storage space.
Validation
To ensure the correct barcode was scanned into the correct tray, all sample ID's are verified via barcode validation.
